Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing, is the national sport of Thailand. It is a combat sport that utilizes stand-up striking along with various clinch techniques.
Our upper level Muay Thai classes consist of heart-pounding cardio, endurance training, detailed technique, and optional sparring.
Our introductory Muay Thai classes also provide a challenging workout while teaching you the basics of the sport.
Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, or BJJ, teaches a smaller person to successfully defend themselves against a stronger, heavier opponent through proper technique and leverage. Brazillian Jiu Jitsu practitioners learn to take the fight to the ground and apply submission holds to defeat their opponent.
Our BJJ classes feature warm-up drills, both beginner and advanced techniques, and opportunities to roll with classmates and try out what you’ve learned.
Our kids’ BJJ classes are just like our adult classes, but scaled for younger learners. Your kids will benefit from experienced instructors in a safe and encouraging learning environment. We all face challenges and adversity in life. When a child discovers what they are capable of in training, by overcoming physical, mental and emotional challenges, their confidence soars. You can see it on the mat, as they become more skilled in their movements; and off the mat, in the way they problem solve as well as interact with others.
Muay Thai is a great sport for youth because it helps them get stronger, learn how to stick to goals, and feel proud of themselves as they learn new moves! While learning the fundamentals of this sport in a safe environment, students receive a great workout, and most importantly, have fun!
